I’m Alieu Jobe, a local guide from The Gambia — half Mandinka, half Fula — and founder of Gambia Jobe Tours & Travel.

Rooted deeply in my country’s culture and daily life, I created this company to offer travelers something special: an authentic, respectful, and human connection to The Gambia. I’ve guided visitors for over six years, working with local communities and NGOs like MyFarm Africa Startup. Real travel isn’t about checking places off a list — it’s about sharing stories, building trust, and opening hearts.

As a guide, I’ve led school visits, cultural tours, nature walks, and immersive experiences — from lively markets of Serekunda to peaceful villages where smiles come easily. I know hidden corners, sacred places, and stories beyond tourist routes. Whether solo travelers, families, or curious explorers, I aim to create a deeper experience of The Gambia.
